Holiday Stress and Overeating: Releasing Patterns that don't Serve You
For most of us, the holidays become a time of pressure and exhaustion as we try to navigate people, places, purchases and parties. Unfortunately, pressure, exhaustion and stress are all triggers for potential overeating. As a success coach, Gretchen helps her clients reduce stress so that they may remain true to their goals. Join Gretchen, Thursday, December 5th at 6:30pm at TreadTabata Beverly. Together everyone will de-stress so we may stay true to our wellness and health goals. This workshop will help everyone enjoy the holidays in ways that support health, happiness and being in the present moment.
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), also known as Tapping is a tool that is scientifically proven to reduce stress by lowering cortisol levels in the bloodstream. EFT Tapping is a simple protocol that takes only minutes to help the body relax. It is designed to be a self-help tool that anyone can use. Gretchen has been teaching EFT and helping her clients create success with EFT for well over 8 years. She has helped hundreds of individuals find greater health, wellness, prosperity and success using her Success Coaching methodology and Tapping.
Gretchen will first lead the basics of EFT Tapping which will enhance relaxation and release stress that is associated with the season. We will then take it to the next level, where we de-condition the mind, body and behavior loop that has us stuck in the habit of overeating to “calm” the system. To close, we will discuss how to apply the tool in our own practice so that we can continue to make progress, reconditioning the system to relax during this time of year. Gretchen will also prepare a customized EFT audio for all workshop participants; practicing at home will continue the path of relaxation and conscious choices with food.
